Erfurt

Erfurt is smack bang in the middle of Germany. It's sort of halfway between Berlin and Munich. Erfurt is the capital city of the state of Thuringen. My plan is to do some hiking in Thuringen. But only if the rain that has been unrelenting for the last week ever lets up.

Obviously they're used to the rain here, because all the "little green men" at the pedestrian lights have umbrellas!
