Update

Hello there, faithful readers.

I am writing from the Thriving Metropolis that is Melbourne, Victoria. Yea verily, my London adventures are over, and now it is time for me to get my act together.

But Ian, I hear you cry, what's going to happen to this brilliant website that we all know and love? Well, there is no short answer to that. For now I shall finish off choronicling my European adventures from last year, and then I'll take a step back and have a good hard look at things.

What things precisely, I don't know. Probably whatever's in my field of vision.

I do have a few ideas as to what to do with the site:

• turn it into a "Nudge" fansite

• dating service for football fans who are too busy watching football to have relationships

• er, that last point cut a bit too close to the bone!

• hub of intellectual jousting regarding important Australian political debates, such as "Will Ricky Ponting ever be as big a legend as David Boon?"

So, as you can see the ideas certainly haven't dried up! I am currently working on a new footy website that will get the pulses, er, racing!
