Under Cover

England is getting bloody cold.

Tomorrow night is Guy Fawkes' Night, but most fireworks displays are being held tonight. I trundled down to Ravenscourt Park with a whole bunch of people I didn't know (as is the Ian Way). Three quid to get in (but hey they're west end prices). There were some fairground attractions inside - lame whirly rides. Two quid a pop! But hey, they're west end prices.

There was a band playing! The band was called "Under Cover", and they were, strangely enough, a covers band. Van Morrison, Beatles, Beach Boys, Oasis, they did them all! And the MC over-enthusiastically introduced them (after every two songs) as The Brilliant "Under Cover".
